Welcome, food enthusiasts, to another blog post. Today, I will be sharing my personal reviews of some restaurants I have visited in Lagos. In no particular order, let’s rate them:
- Wakame Restaurant: Located inside the Marriott Hotel at 122 Joel Ogunnaike Street, Ikeja GRA, Lagos, this Asian kitchen and lounge is perfect for date nights, group hangouts, and family dinners. It boasts great aesthetics and ambiance, delicious food, and satisfactory service. Reservations are required for family gatherings. Expect to spend around 20k for a good treat.
- Nostalgia: Situated at 88 Hakeem Dickson Link Rd, Lekki Phase 1, Nostalgia offers an inviting outdoor space, excellent food and cocktails, and top-notch service. The ambiance and music are equally impressive. With 20k, you’ll have a great experience.
- Hua Huan Restaurant: This Korean and Chinese restaurant at 45c Sobo Arobiodu Street, Ikeja GRA, is ideal for lovers of Korean cuisine. The food and overall experience are exceptional, with a pleasing ambiance. A budget of 20k guarantees a good time.
- Rubels and Angels: With locations at 52 Ogunlana Drive, Surulere, and 12a University Road, Akoka, Yaba, this restaurant offers delicious food, cocktails, and ice cream. The aesthetics and ambiance are delightful, and they usually host karaoke sessions at night. A great time can be had for around 10k.
- Rhapsody: Located at 53-55 Sobo Arobiodu Street, Ikeja GRA, and inside the Ikeja City Mall, Rhapsody offers aesthetically pleasing settings, great food and cocktails, good service, and great music. It also has an outdoor space. A budget of 10k is sufficient for a memorable experience.
- Sycamore by One Basket: Located at 30a Bashiru Shittu Avenue, Ikosi-Ketu, this spot serves brunch and intercontinental dishes in a simple, cozy setting with an outdoor space. The food and cocktails are good, and with 8k, you’ll have a nice experience. Note that VAT is charged separately.
- Rococo: At 1c Ozumba Mbadiwe Avenue, Victoria Island, Rococo is a restaurant, lounge, and club offering happy-hour food, great cocktails, upscale dining, and entertainment. The space is beautiful and relaxing. A minimum spend of 20k ensures a good time.
- BFF Lagos: Located at 4 Jibowu Street, Yaba, BFF Lagos offers great food and cocktails in a minimal yet beautiful space. The ambiance and aesthetics are catchy, making it suitable for hangouts and dates. It is quite affordable, with a decent treat costing less than 10k.
- Soul Food Restaurant: Situated at 51 St. Finbarr’s College Road, Yaba, this restaurant offers all-you-can-eat options, great cocktails, and vegan dishes. The food is nice, with a great ambiance and cute space, suitable for dates and hangouts. With 10k, you’ll have a blast.
- Pappie’s Metro: Located at 18b Moore Road, Yaba, Pappie’s Metro serves local cuisine, sandwiches, and pasta. It has an outdoor space for live performances. The food and cocktails are great, and it is quite affordable, ensuring a treat for around 10k.
